Probably the best chocolate balls in the world/ Paleo

My friend Maria does the best chocolate balls. This weekend we celebrated her birthday and after the dinner we had chocolate balls to the coffee. It made me want to make them at home.

Recipe

1 box with fresh dates, it’s about 40 of them

Put them into the food processor, and mix them creamy,

Take 150-200 grams of organic dark chocolate, I use 85%, and melt into a water bath.

Pour the chocolate into the processor and mix together with the dates

Take a oven tray with paper on, with two spoons your click the dough in right ball sizes on the paper. (Don’t mind that it doesn’t look pretty)

Cool the tray, with the dough for half an hour in the fridge, I live in Sweden, we just open the door and put it outside…

After half an hour you roll the balls smooth, melt a little more of the chocolate and with a teaspoon pour a little on each ball. Sprinkle some coconut on the top and cool a little longer.


Recept

Mixa dadlar i matberedaren, använd knivarna. Det ska bli krämigt som en smet. Smält ca 150-200 gram 85% mörk choklad av god kvalitet i vattenbad. Häll på den smälta chokladen med dadlarna  och mixa ihop allt. Klicka ut smeten i bollstora klickar på ett bakplåtspapper och kyl en halvtimme. Rulla sedan i fina bollar. Smält lite mer choklad och häll över lite på varje boll som du sedan strör lite kokos över för att de ska se vackra ut. Kyl lite till.
